Media Submission Guidelines
Scholars Media is an open-access platform for original scientific presentations, video articles, scientific images, and educational animations across medical sciences, engineering, applied sciences, life sciences, and environmental sciences.
Originality and Review
Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. All listed contributors must have approved the submission. Acceptance is based on editorial assessment and, where appropriate, peer-review recommendations.
Accepted Media
PowerPoint presentations: Submit an editable PPTX file with a clear title slide, author names, affiliations, references, and readable text. Avoid macros and password protection.
Video articles: Submit MP4, WebM, or MOV video. Use clear narration, legible labels, and good audio quality. Patient or participant identities must not be visible without documented consent.
Scientific images: Submit JPG, PNG, WebP, or TIFF files. Images should be high resolution, accurately labelled, and free from misleading enhancement.
Scientific animations: Submit MP4, WebM, or GIF files. Animations must accurately represent the scientific process and clearly distinguish measured findings from illustrative interpretation.
Required Information
Each submission must include a title, all author names, affiliations where applicable, corresponding-author email, 3-8 keywords, and a description of no more than 250 words summarizing the objective, method or source material, principal message, and conclusion.
File Preparation
Use descriptive file names and remove passwords, macros, executable content, and confidential metadata. Text, legends, captions, and narration should be in clear English. Cite third-party data, images, music, and other material, and provide evidence of permission where required.
References
References shown in the presentation or media should follow Vancouver style and be numbered in order of appearance. Use recognized journal abbreviations where available.
Ethics and Consent
Human and animal material must comply with applicable institutional and national ethical standards. Remove patient identifiers and obtain informed consent for identifiable material. Authors should follow the Declaration of Helsinki guidance where applicable.
Open Access and Rights
Accepted media is made freely accessible for reading and educational viewing. Authors must hold the rights required to publish every submitted element. Scholars Media is not responsible for opinions expressed by contributors.
Fees and Proofs
If an article processing charge applies, it becomes due only after acceptance. Payments are non-refundable after publication processing begins. Any requested corrections must be returned within 48 hours.
